5 Equipment

Tracking our equipment is important in order to ensure that we have the necessary tools to conduct our work. We have systems in place for ensuring the equipment we need for specific tasks is logged in checklists that we include in our field safety plans documented here.

Often each crewmember has a complete set of gear, including things like satellite, communication devices, waders, boots, vest, vehicle, safety, equipment, and personal tools such as GPS is phones, computers, etc. Equipment in the possession of team members is tracked by placing an x in the column corresponding to your name in the equipment page of the equipment.csv spreadsheet kept in our (new_graphitti)[https://github.com/NewGraphEnvironment/new_graphiti] repo. When returned the x for equipment is removed by using a pull request in that repo.
