15.2 Bcfishpass
bcfishpass
is a collection of scripts to create and maintain an aquatic connectivity / fish passage database for British Columbia, run by Simon Norris. It’s a beast and there is a lot to look at.We use
bcfishpass
all the time. For example we usebcfishpass
modelling in QGIS to evaluate stream crossings for fish passage.Take a thorough look through bcfishpass and test your knowledge with the bcfishpass accessibility and habitat modelling knowledge exercises, with answers found here.
Whenever possible, we can update the
bcfishpass
database with new data through PRs.
